This is the 7th episode that continues TigerGraph's Graph Guru series, a free educational webinar series for developers and data scientists.

This episode explores one of the most popular graph patterns - link analytics, where we seek a link between two entities. This may be a connection between banking accounts, a possible relationship between a doctor and administrator of a drug rehabilitation clinic for healthcare, or the level of interconnections among a group of subscribers in a telecom use case.

In this Graph Gurus episode, we use the TigerGraph Developer Edition to build a link analysis solution using the first algorithm, “Shortest Path” from the newly released TigerGraph Algorithm library. In this episode, we:

    • Explain graph analytics patterns used in link analysis for a variety of use cases. These range from detecting social benefits fraud in government applications, finding money laundering loops for banking, locating high risk customers during customer due diligence (CDD) and know your customer (KYC) use cases, and discovering prescriber-facility collusion for the healthcare and insurance industries.
    • Present a graph solution to perform link analysis using GSQL.
    • Review a real-life business use case for link analysis using TigerGraph and GSQL.
